HI all,,
I spend the last 12 months living in china and spend most of my time in Shanghai, so if anyone is heading there, let me know I'll give you some good advice.
The Sex scene there is alive and kicking, and if you are going there are several levels you need to be aware of.
Barbers Shops. There are little shops on the road side, with a spinning barbers pole outside. They are absolutely everywhere, and you can not go 100 Meters with out seeing them. Don't be confused they don't cut hair. You can easily identify them as inside there are usually 4-5 girls with no guys in sight. In the summer they wear mini skirts , in the winter, they wear long stockings. (crotchless of course). Once you enter they usually close the roller door so you won't be interrupted.
The services on offer are varied and is only limited by your imagination. I had them start with a sexy dance and strip very slowly...
Be prepared to bargain for the price of the particular service, (which for me kinda spoils the mood). As I'm Ang Mo, and don't speak a lot of mandarin, I assume my prices were higher than the locals.
Here is typically what I found; HJ $50 RMB, BBJ $70R MB, Full service $200 RMB.
SPA's. Again don't be fooled this is not a health club as we know it.
The closest thing I can describe this to is a SOAPY in Thailand, but it is all done with their mouth and lips. Let me explain,.. they take a mouth full of warm water and press their lips against your skin, then while gently sucking air in, they move their lips all over your body. (and I mean ALL OVER YOUR BODY) Then they take some ice and perform the same thing all over again with cold water. Your body tingles all over with a "Hot and Cold" sensation,
They they get the Red Rope out. and hang naked from the ceiling. ( Trust me the mirrors in the ceiling are put to good use.) They are positioned directly above your dick, and while sucking you the spin around and around giving you the most amazing blow job.
By then you are almost ready to explode. They of course are a little dizzy with the blood rushing to their heads, so they climb down and just lie back, spread their legs wide and allow you to finger, lick or fuck them. (what ever u desire) Then follows a 10-15 minute massage, to allow you to recover before you fuck them again.
The price depended on the time of day.. Before 4pm was 500RMB, after 4pm was $700, and I even heard of one that supplied two girls for $1000RMB.

BMD Clubs Yes they do have them, The phillipino bar girl has popped up in almost every county I have traveled to. In Shanghai there a street called "Tong Ren Lu" that has 4-5 BMD bars. The drinks are cheap, and the girls are wild. Take out for all night is $500 - $1000 depending on quality of the girl, and the time on the night.
There is no point arriving before 11pm, and the most action happens 2am,, I have even arrived at 4am, and had a great time.
Night Clubs
As a foreigner in China you are targeted by most of the girls, where they want to get out of china. Just rock up to any local night club and you will have no problem meeting them. They will flock to you, and some will even buy you drinks,
Finding one to take home is easy, but be warned even though the sex is free there is a price. You will find it very hard to get rid of them. And in some cases I have had to move Hotel's and avoid certain sections of town for a while. Personally I would rather pay for it, and avoid all the hassles,
The club I have had the best time is "Baby Face" in Central Puxi
The usual there is of course the standard street walkers, and chicks in the mall, and of course my favorite "the supermarket", you will be amazed at how often I get laid by picking up girls in the super market.
If anyone is after specifics, places, addresses let me know... It's easier for me to draw a map over a beer, than try and explain here.

with delay, I must say that in Taipei we enjoyed the final a lot and got also drunk...but that's fine, it was something that had to be done 
After Taipei I moved to Shanghai. I'm not gonna write about the massage parlor my customer took me to, because it was terrible but to those who are going there, I strongly strongly recommend these two Clubs:
The Mint on Wednesday.
The Bar Rouge on Friday.
For both, try to reserve a table 1 day in advance. In both you will find girls from all the world and the party is excellent. May be not at the Mint, which is smaller, but for sure if you don't catch up something at Bar rouge, then there must be something wrong in your dressing or in your attitude. It's simply great.
