The Beauty of Singapore

One of the best things a person can do is live in a location that they truly love. Noting or at least very few things could make you your live more enjoyable then to wake up and find everything you want at your doorstep. For me living in Singapore I can say that each day is beautiful and a joy to meet. A lot of people ask me why I chose to live in Singapore and not some other place. I sum it up to them like this, “years before I got out of the Navy I planned to live some where in Southeast Asia, where I wasn’t sure but my first choice was the Philippines islands. Why there you ask? Well it’s like this, with what I get on my retirement check each month I can live there like a king and never have to worry about working could save money at the same time. After I meet my wife, well Singapore became my home so here I am. If I had moved to some place like Thailand chances are pretty good I would not be in the shape I am in now since all I would have done there is drink, go to the bars and hang out with ladies all the time. It’s fun for a while but not a long term lifestyle unless you have a death wish. It is true that you don’t have to live in Bangkok or one of the other main party areas but isn’t that like going to a beach with no sand? What fun is that?

So what makes Singapore such a nice place for me? Ok let me put it to you this way; imagine the perfect woman for you, height, weight, hair, shape and everything else. Now imagine a place where the people fit that description 75% of the time and of the other 25%, 15% of them were at least 70% on target. That is pretty good odds if you ask me. When I walk out side I’m smiling from ear to ear all the time. No matter where I look I see great looking women every where and it makes me a happy man. I would say that the average dress size must be about 2 or 3 with a 7 being considered large size. Thigh pants, hip hugger jeans and short skirts as well as clinging tops that really shows off the hourglass figures that these gorgeous ladies have. As one of my friends put it that can here to visit, “all of these ladies are built for speed”. For as long as I have been in Asia like most Westerners I still can not tell many of their ages, so what I do is simple. I figure her age and subtract about 10 to 15 years then I may be in the ball park. If you were to sit in one spot a long the street or in a mall and try to pick the best looking lady you saw with in an hours time, you would have a very difficult task on your hands but one I am sure you would enjoy!

When I think about others I knew that talked about moving over seas after military life and how many of them truly did it the numbers are very small. I think it takes a certain kind of person to want to live in a land far from the home that they know so well. Or maybe it is just the over whelming urge to be someplace where life is good and you enjoy your self and your days on earth. After all I have been though I thank each day I have and want to make the most of the ones I have left. So why not Singapore, can it get any better than this and still be legal? I don’t think so.
